Point Pleasant, W.Va. – (May 20, 2021) – Fruth Pharmacy is pleased to announce Aislee Dawn Richards as the winner for the 0-12 month category in Fruth Pharmacy’s 2021 Baby Face Event.
This year, Fruth Pharmacy’s Baby Face Event looked a little different.

Due to COVID-19, parents were asked to submit photos of their children via e-mail for a chance to win a gift basket. In previous years, Fruth Pharmacy has brought children into the stores, had a photographer take photos, and a panel of judges determine a finalist to be submitted to the corporate office. To practice social distancing, Fruth adapted their event. The prize was smaller and there was no monetary donation to enter. Instead, parents named an organization they wanted to support and allowed Fruth Pharmacy to use their baby’s photo to spread awareness about the organization in the area. Each baby’s photo also listed items that the organization could use. Fruth served as a donation drop-point for these baby organizations throughout the month of March.
Aislee’s parents chose to support North Place Maternity House in Parkersburg, West Virginia.
“We chose North Place Maternity House because it is where I live and without organizations like them, people like me could not get the help they need for their children,” Halie Knox, Aislee’s mom shared.
“We like supporting a great cause and it’s nice to show-off my new baby girl,” Knox continued.
“My family has shopped at Fruth for years. We love the store and all they offer – the baby contest is fun,” concluded Knox.
Aislee is the daughter of Halie Knox and BJ Richards. Aislee has a sister named Brynlee. Aislee is the granddaughter of Crystal and Bobby Richards and Julye and Bobby Knox.
Fruth Pharmacy is a family-owned company serving the tri-state area of West Virginia, Ohio, and Kentucky. Fruth Pharmacy has been in business since 1952.
