Ethan Minturn Wins Fruth Baby Face Event

Point Pleasant, W.Va. – (May 20, 2021) –

Ethan Minturn’s photo submitted to the 2021 Fruth Pharmacy Baby Face Event.

Fruth Pharmacy is pleased to announce Ethan Minturn as the winner for the 25-36 month category in Fruth Pharmacy’s 2021 Baby Face Event.

“I was excited for him to win,” Jody Minturn, Ethan’s mom shared with Fruth Pharmacy, “It is always an awesome feeling when your child is chosen for an award.”

This year, Fruth Pharmacy’s Baby Face Event looked a little different.  Due to COVID-19, parents were asked to submit photos of their children via e-mail for a chance to win a gift basket.  In previous years, Fruth Pharmacy has brought children into the stores, had a photographer take photos, and a panel of judges determine a finalist to be submitted to the corporate office.  To practice social distancing, Fruth adapted their event.  The prize was smaller and there was no monetary donation to enter.  Instead, parents named an organization they wanted to support and allowed Fruth Pharmacy to use their baby’s photo to spread awareness about the organization in the area.  Each baby’s photo also listed items that the organization could use.  Fruth served as a donation drop-point for these baby organizations throughout the month of March.

Ethan’s parents chose to support Heart and Hand of Winfield.

“We think he’s a really cute kid and we wanted to help others in need through Winfield Heart and Hand,” Minturn stated when asked why she entered Ethan into Fruth’s 2021 Baby Face Event.

“Fruth is in our community and the staff is always super kind,” Minturn began, “I’m a Fruth customer because they are kind and helpful. Once I had left a bag and they tracked me down to return the items a week later.  My family and I were surprised that the staff at Winfield took the time to do this,” Minturn concluded.

Ethan is the son of Tim and Jody Minturn.  He has two brothers, Jonathan, age 8 and Caleb, age 6. Ethan is the grandson of Joe and Judy Balog and Dave and Sande Minturn.

River’s parents chose to support Lily’s Place in Huntington, West Virginia.

“We love that Fruth Pharmacy is local to us.  We always find great deals.  I love following Facebook and seeing the games and giveaways throughout the year,” White concluded.
